From Shibuya Crossing to Golden Gai, Rosalia might be singing “yours” but we all know she made Tokyo hers on this one. Rented out the 100+ year-old Hoshi Onsen so she could bring a new meaning to “steamy”. Even rainy season couldn’t put a damper on this.
Director STILLZ once again deftly applying a fresh angle to genre staples, pairing nods to Lost in Translation-inspired tropes of melancholy and ennui with slice-of-life details of the modern Tokyo experience: from Savoy takeaways to solo dining at Ichiran. Circled 2倍 spicy so we all knew he was going to turn up the heat.
