Working with New-York based photographer Ryley Paskal, and LA-based stylist David Friend, we shot a strikingly quirky “festival” themed look book for Nike Japan’s FA23 Member Days campaign. Spanning traditional matsuri tropes as well as more unconventional takes on the theme through a unique, character-based approach: from a kakigōri kid eating their fill, through to “lost-sandal man”, quite literally lost in the mud at a music festival.
