Director Jonathon Lim returned to Australia during COVID after 9 years abroad in Shanghai where he started PUSH, and Los Angeles. Now back in Australia, Lim got wind of 1300. A group of Australians that rapped in Korean. Growing up in Australia, he’d never seen Asian culture represented in this way.

Inspired to document a new era of Australia, this film is about the 1300’s connection to culture through their music. In this film, we get a glimpse into each of their characters in the lead-up to a sold-out show at Sydney Opera House. A major milestone for the group.
