Born of Chinese heritage, raised in Stuttgart, and now living in Los Angeles, Xiaolong Liu is a trilingual, multi-talented Director of Photography who has shot music videos for the likes of 21 Savage and Offset alongside frequent collaborator, director Aisultan Seitov, as well as shooting other renowned artists ranging from Travis Scott and Young Thug, to Goldlink and Wang Yi Tai.

His style is breathtakingly kinetic, drawing on technical expertise to push the boundaries of what can be achieved in the confines of a studio, while filtering everything through a lens of effortless cool and inimitable panache, with which he has also reframed the appeal of brands like Zara and Reebok through trend-defining commercial work, all of which makes Xiaolong Liu one of the most impressive DPs of his ilk.
